Will Work For Food

Maybe we should all take the optimistic approach to the budget crisis.

Luckily for us the suspension of pay for members of the US Military, has not affected the dispersment of welfare funds. So the good news...we can ALL draw welfare. The soldiers still have to fight, but they get to do it for a welfare check instead of their regular pay. Even better news, food stamps should now be available! WIC which is something most of us with small children don't qualify for, we will now all get it! Healthcare...don't worry. They're keeping Planned Parenthood intact, so we can get our birth control and abortions FOR FREE!!! I don't know about the rest of you but I see the glass as half-full. (sarcasm).

Now that we know the common soldier can qualify for welfare funds, shouldn't the opposite go for the common welfare recipient? They can all join the ARMY. That way we can increase our military forces and we can all be equals on welfare.

So lets just evaluate the number of "blessings" a military pay suspension will cause.
Housing doesn't get paid...(So we're homeless) We get to enjoy the outdoors.
Doctors don't get paid....(So we're sick)No more radiation from those pesky x-ray machines.
Bills don't get paid...so we lose electric, cars, insurance (money is the root of all evil anyway)
and don't forget gas prices...nobody can buy gas now, so who cares about the cost?
Groceries can't get bought...so our children starve (part of a live healthy lifestyle)

What about military schools? Do our children no longer have access to proper education? (homeschooling is under-rated)

What about men and women overseas? They get to show their patriotism by fighting for free!

What about the communities surrounding the military installations? They will get lots of time off, now that there are no soldiers to occupy their time!

Gee, I wish I had known earlier in my life that working for free was the better option! Thank you President Obama. You have opened my eyes. I hope you still get to go on your government paid family vacation next week. I feel bad for you if you miss that. We will be spending quality family time, sleeping in our car, driving around( oops sorry can't afford gas, guess we'll be walking) looking for wildlife to poach. Too bad you'll miss it!
